millet idli......soft and tasty ....
Ingredients:. Kodomillet(varagu)_1cup, barnyard millet-(kuthiraivaali)_1cup, pearl millet (kambu)_1cup,idli rice_1cup,urud dhal_1cup,red aval_1/2 cup, fenugreek seeds_1spoon.
Method: soak urud dhal with fenugreek for 3hours.add red aval to it ten minutes before grinding urud dhal.
Soak all the other ingredients altogether for 5 hours. Grind urud dhal,aval, fenugreek first.take the dough.then grind the other ingredients.mix the dough.add salt and stir with hands.ferment it for 8hours.make idlis .serve with coconut chutney.we can make dosas too using this dough.
